Accessibility statement

Cirface is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice control software, and keyboard navigation. We believe access to information about our services should not depend on ability, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.

Our conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility and inform accessibility legislation in Canada, the United States, and the European Union, including the Accessible Canada Act and the standards published by Accessibility Standards Canada.

Measures we have taken

In August 2026, we completed an accessibility review of our website using automated evaluation tools and manual testing. As a result of that review, we remediated issues affecting screen reader users and voice control users, including:

  • Accessible names for all icons, buttons, and interactive controls, so assistive technologies announce them correctly

  • Descriptive labels for carousel and gallery navigation

  • A corrected heading structure that allows screen reader users to navigate the page by outline

  • Warnings on links that open in a new tab

  • Corrected ARIA roles and labelled embedded frames

We conduct periodic accessibility reviews of our site, including when we publish new page templates or make significant design changes.

Known limitations

We are transparent about the areas where our site does not yet fully conform:

  • Some text elements do not yet meet the minimum colour contrast ratios required by WCAG 2.1 AA. A site-wide palette update is in progress to resolve this.

  • Our live chat widget is provided by a third party and contains markup we cannot modify. Some of its dialog elements may not be fully announced by assistive technologies. Visitors who cannot use the chat widget can reach us using the contact options below.
